Note: USCIS has designated the Final Action dates for employment-based adjustment of status applications and the Dates for Filing chart for family-sponsored adjustment of status applications within the U.S. for April 2025.

Below are some key changes for the employment-based preference categories this month:

Final Action dates for Employment-Sponsored Cases:

• EB1:
  • EB1 China remains at 11/08/2022.
  • EB1 India remains at 02/01/2022.
  • All other EB1 remain current.
• EB2:
  • EB2 China moves forwards 146 days from 05/08/2020 to 10/01/2020.
  • EB2 India moves forward 1 month from 12/01/2012 to 01/01/2013.
  • EB2 Mexico moves forward 1 month and 1 week from 05/15/2023 and 06/22/2023.
  • All other EB2 moves forward 1 month and 1 week from 05/15/2023 and 06/22/2023.
• EB3:
  • EB3 China moves forward 3 months from 08/01/2020 to 11/01/2020.
  • EB3 India moves forward 2 months from 02/01/2013 to 04/01/2013.
  • All other EB3 moves forward 1 month from 12/01/2022 to 01/01/2023.
• EB5:
  • EB5 China (Unreserved C5, T5, I5, R5) retrogressed 905 days from 07/15/2016 to 01/22/2014.
  • EB5 India retrogressed 792 days from 01/01/2022 to 11/01/2019.
  • All EB5 (Set Aside Rural – 20%) remain current.
  • All EB5 (Set Aside High Unemployment – 10%) remains current.
  • All EB5 (Set Aside Infrastructure – 2%) remain current.
