Department of State released the visa bulletin for May 2016. Below is a copy of the visa bulletin for the employment-based category and a summary of the changes.

1. Application Final Action Dates For Employment-Based Preference Cases

• EB1 category remains current.
• China mainland EB2 stayed same as April. India EB2 moved forward 2 weeks to November 22, 2008. All other EB2 category remains current.
• China mainland EB3 stayed same as April. India EB3 moved forward about 3 weeks to September 1, 2004. Philippines EB3 moved forward over 3 months to August 8, 2008. All other EB3 category remains unchanged at February 15, 2016.
• China mainland EB5 moved forward one week to 2/8/2014, and all other EB5 category remains current.

2. Dates for Filing of Employment-Based Visa Applications

• Timeframe for immigrant visa applicants on when to assemble and submit required documents to the National Visa Center
