Emily Tsai is a Law Clerk with pending bar admission at Meng Law Group PC. She passed the July 2021 California bar exam and is awaiting admission to the California State Bar. She handles a variety of cases, including EB1A, NIW, and O-1. Previously, she worked as a law clerk for a business immigration firm in Orange County. In the summer of 2020, she interned with the Federal Trade Commission, where she assisted the agency’s attorneys on investigations related to consumer protection. She also clerked for a nonprofit legal aid organization in Orange County, where she worked on humanitarian forms of relief, including U-Visa, VAWA, asylum, and cancellation of removal.
Ms. Tsai earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Law. At UCI Law, she completed over 300 hours of pro bono working in immigration and consumer protection. She was awarded the Wiley W. Manuel certificate from the California Lawyers Association for her pro bono work in 2021. Ms. Tsai earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, cum laude, and Music from the University of California, Los Angeles.
